In March 2011, we were commissioned by Build to celebrate the launch of 'Nokia Pure', Nokia's new typeface created by Dalton Maag), by producing some wood letter and printing a limited letterpress poster of the name of the typeface.
A short film was made of the process starting in the digital realm with our Roland CNC engraving machine and reverted to the very analogue 12 line wooden letters of Chris Daunt's lemon wood blocks, which were then used on the Original Heidelberg KS Cylinder!
Paekakariki Press has been accepted as an exciting venue in the Open House Festival. This means that we will be open to the public on both:
Saturday 19 September 2026 and
Sunday 20 September 2026.
